Principal's Message

Welcome back Birch Lane community. We are very excited to begin a new school year and look forward to seeing you Wednesday August 29. The first few weeks of school are busy in and around the campus so please be safe, and when possible use the alternative entry points to the school such as the bike paths or the rear entrance to the school.

We encourage you to connect with your child’s teacher in the first few days of school so we can best serve and support every child.

Our PTA is an integral part of our school community, please join and support our art and garden programs, school safety (crossing guards, recess supervision), field trips, and much more!

Our school takes the safety and well being of all students as a primary focus. Our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) is our framework for celebrations, explicit instruction of behaviors to all students, guidelines for Restorative Practices, and Social Emotional Learning skills. Thanks to our School Board our counselor, Susie Carrell, will be here every day supporting our children.

We look forward to seeing you and have a wonderful beginning to our school year!
