Kathryn Dixon
Mrs. Dixon is thrilled to be a part of Birch Lane. Even before teaching here, she had the opportunity to volunteer in her two daughters' classrooms. It was those experiences of making bread in Mrs. Keane's class, gardening with Ms.Yates and driving on field trips with Ms. Hilden and Mr. M's classes that lead her to change her career from teaching at a college level to elementary. She has taught 2nd grade at Birch Lane for 4 years and was at Montgomery before that.
When she isn't teaching she loves traveling, hiking, and camping with her husband and two daughters. She also enjoys reading, watercolor painting and sketching, listening to live music, and of course chocolate!
