Hello My Name Is...
Lisa Yates
Hello! My name is Lisa Yates. I have been teaching at Birch Lane since August of 1996. I have taught Kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade. I love spending time with students. I enjoy teaching how to solve problems. I also enjoy teaching how to find a calm place using breathing, mindfulness, gratitude, positive affirmations, and nature breaks.
When I'm not at school, I enjoy hanging out with my silly cat, Pumpkin. I also enjoy kayaking at Lake Natoma, exploring the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and relaxing in Bodega Bay. You might see me around town. I love to eat at our local restaurants, visit our local grocery stores, and hang out at the Farmer's Market.
